THE FIXER FIRM
IRS LEVY HELP FOR PROFESSIONALS & BUSINESS OWNERS
Stop an IRS Levy From Disrupting Your Income or Business
An IRS levy can reach your bank accounts, wages, accounts receivable, and other property, putting your income, assets, or business operations at risk.
If you've received a Final Notice of Intent to Levy or the IRS has already begun collection action, The Fixer Firm™ investigates the underlying tax problem, determines what led to the enforcement action, and identifies what needs to be corrected before developing an appropriate resolution strategy.
We help high-earning professionals and service-based business owners address IRS levy problems through a defined Tax Case focused on resolving the underlying tax issue, not simply reacting to the levy.
Don't ignore an IRS levy notice. Start by telling us what's happening.
What is an IRS Levy?
An IRS levy is a legal collection action that allows the IRS to seize certain property or assets to satisfy unpaid federal tax debt. Depending on the situation, this may include bank accounts, wages, accounts receivable, and other levy-eligible property.
A levy generally does not happen without warning. The IRS typically sends notices before levy action occurs, including a Final Notice of Intent to Levy and Notice of Your Right to a Hearing.
If you've received an IRS levy notice or a levy has already occurred, the underlying tax and compliance problems need to be identified before the appropriate resolution strategy can be determined.
How the IRS Levy Process Works
IRS collection matters vary, but the process may include:

Tax is assessed and remains unpaid.
The IRS sends notices requesting payment.

Collection notices escalate.
If the balance remains unresolved, additional notices and collection activity may follow.

The IRS may issue a Final Notice of Intent to Levy.
This notice can create important response and appeal deadlines.

Levy action may begin.
Depending on the circumstances, the IRS may levy bank accounts, accounts receivable, or other property.

The underlying tax problem still has to be resolved.
Addressing the levy does not necessarily eliminate the underlying tax debt or compliance issue.

How The Fixer Firm Can Help
An IRS levy is rarely the entire problem. The Fixer Firm™ investigates the underlying tax issue to determine why the IRS took collection action, what needs to be corrected, and what resolution options may be available.

Depending on the circumstances, a Tax Case may involve:

• Reviewing IRS notices, account information, and collection activity
• Identifying unfiled returns or other compliance problems
• Determining available collection and resolution options
• Preparing corrective filings or records when required
• Communicating with the IRS when representation is included in the engagement
• Developing and carrying out the defined resolution strategy

The goal is not simply to respond to the levy. We work the underlying Tax Case toward resolution.
